The BS548G is a Gigabit Power over Ethernet (PoE) Splitter, which splits a Gigabit Ethernet IEEE802.3bt PoE cable into a separated Gigabit Ethernet and an isolated 48VDC with 60W power output. It allows users to run Gigabit speed for CAT5e cables over a 100m distance away from PoE switch while providing isolated 48VDC output and separated data to power up the non-PoE network devices.
With a DC-Jack connector for an isolated 48VDC power output, this BS548G also provides 2 LED indicators: BT and Vout. The BT LED indicates if the BS548G is powered by IEEE802.3bt 90W PoE Switch, and the Vout indicates if the 48VDC is ON. It saves cost when installing various network devices in varied locations without AC adaptor outlets.
