8-Port 10/100Mbps IEEE802.3 af/at PoE+ Switch Plus 2-Port Uplink Gigabit Combo (RJ45 / SFP)

DP1082CG is a hardened 8-port 10/100Mbps with IEEE802.3af/at PoE+ Switch, plus 2-port uplink Gigabit Combo port with RJ45/SFP connectors. All the PoE ports may support up to 30W per port basis. Each of the uplink Gigabit Combo port supports either RJ45 or SFP connector. It means only one of the connector RJ45/SFP can be linked at a time on Gigabit Ethernet for the COMBO port. If both RJ45/SFP connectors of the same COMBO port are connected at the same time, the SFP port will be linked with priority.

The DP1082CG also features 250meter Ethernet extension, and VLAN functions. The slide switch on the front panel is to select FE, EXT, and VLAN functions for Ethernet. The FE is to set for all the 8 port as standard 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet. The EXT is to set for each of the 8 port to link at 10Mbps Ethernet to support up to 250meter cable extension for CAT5e cable. The VLAN is to set for each of the 8 ports as 8 individual isolated ports and to communicate only with the gigabit COMBO ports.

With the terminal block connector, it may provide PoE for 48VDC~57VDC up to 120W/240W power budget. For each of the 8 ports with PoE function, it all supports over-current, over-voltage, and over-temperature protections

This slim switch is designed with Wall-mountable and/or DIN rail mountable, making installation simple and easy. It meets with critical network environment with IP30 enclosure and test under extensive Industrial EMI and Safety standards. It can be used in extreme environments with an operating temperature range of -40°C to 75°C.
