Description

AH508A is an ATM based G.SHDSL unit enabling the transport of multi mega bit stream over one or two pair of copper wires using TC-PAM technology.

The Circuit Emulation Services (CES) is supported by encapsulating E1 or Nx64K TDM traffic into UDP packet which can be passed through IP and ATM networks Complete choice of user DTE interfaces, E1 constant bit rate port, user configurable data port and 10/100 M Ethernet, and a full protocol suite support ensure that application flexibilities could be easily achieved.

AH508A supports the IP packet routing through LAN segment or WAN network topology by using the embedded protocol suite such as PPPoA, PPPoE, DHCP, NAT, Static Routing and Dynamic Routing. The comprehensive diagnostics function developed includes status indication of DSL, E1, V35, and LAN interface as well as performance monitoring on G.SHDSL and E1 line.
