The BC524G is a Gigabit Power over Ethernet (PoE) Converter, which converts a Gigabit Ethernet IEEE802.3bt PoE cable into a passive PoE Gigabit Ethernet for an isolated 24VDC with maximum 43W power output. It allows users to run Gigabit speed for CAT5e cables over a 100m distance away from PoE switch while providing an isolated 24VDC output with Gigabit data to power up the passive PoE network devices.
With the isolated 24VDC power output, this BC524G also provides 2 LED indicators: IN and OUT. The IN LED indicates if the BC524G is powered by IEEE802.3bt/at/af PoE Switch, and the OUT LED indicates if the 24VDC is ON. It saves cost when installing various passive PoE network devices in varied locations without AC adaptor outlets.
