VDSL2

Description

The V400 series Long-Reach Broadband Switch is a web-managed switch, which allows extension of Ethernet networks to remote sites without changing network topology and without having to reconfigure existing networking elements. The Switch extends Ethernet over single-pair copper wiring at speeds from 21/17 to 100/100Mbps (downstream/ upstream) and distances up to 5,000feet (1,524 meters). The Switch is designed especially for connecting LANs and workstations in enterprise, industrial, and commercial campus environments. The Switch is ideal for connecting buildings within various campus settings, such as universities, hospitals, airports, industrial sites, railways, hotels, resorts, banks, companies, and branch offices. In these expansive campus environments, the Switch can solve your complex networking challenges quickly and affordably.

Each DSL port of Switch can be configured into either master for central side or client for remote side. A pair of Switches offers a cost effective symmetric/ asymmetric broadband solution for bandwidth-hungry applications such as LAN-to-LAN connectivity, Internet access, VLAN (Virtual Local Area Network) and VoIP (Voice over IP) applications over ordinary copper wire pairs.
